Raw Desserts, Raw Snacks

I LOVE CHOCOLATE! And this recipe makes me happy because it’s sublimely scrumptious, and superbly simple! I was very surprised at how quick and easy it is to put together… and I think the texture is almost as amazing as the taste.

Raw Chocolate Pudding
2 Tbs. organic raw milk
1 Tbs. organic raw honey
1/2 tsp. organic vanilla extract
1/2 avocado, large
1  organic banana, frozen
1 Tbs. organic raw cocao powder (or raw carob powder)

Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy. (Serves one.)  Enjoy!!!

Raw chocolate may actually be very good for you, if used in moderation. It is full of wonderful antioxidants and minerals that could possibly discourage premature aging and disease.

Recently I heard that when Christopher Columbus returned to Spain in 1502 from another voyage to the New World, he brought many treasures back with him. Among the various items Mr. Columbus presented in the court of King Ferdinand, were the foreign and beautiful cocoa beans- He was the first European to discover chocolate! I always knew there was something special about Europeans.
