Potato Chips Recipe (potato free!)

Raw Snacks

These golden babies are AWESOME! And they’re not even made from potatoes!!! My Aunt tasted them yesterday and was like, “OH MY GOSH…… SHANAAAA! THEY TASTE BETTER THAN REAL POTATO CHIPS!”  I have to say I was surprised by how incredible they are. Each chip is lightly coated with olive oil, topped with spices to give it an amazing flavor, and then dehydrated. When you pop one in your mouth… they even have that crispy  crunch that only a real chip can have. Praise the Lord that there are still greasy foods that are good for you!!!

Raw Potato Chips

Directions:
Slice as many zucchini as your dehydrator will hold, slice them a little over 1/8 inch thick. (If they’re sliced too thin, they’ll shrink up to practically nothing.)

Place in rows on dehydrator sheets- not touching each other.

With a kitchen oil brush, lightly smear a little olive oil on each one, till each has a shiny coating on it.

Sprinkle with salt to taste.

Next, lightly sprinkle onion powder on each one.

Then sprinkle with Lewis Lab brewer’s yeast powder.  (More brewer’s yeast than onion powder is best.)

Dehydrate at 115 degrees,  for 25-30 hours (or longer depending on the weather… on humid days these might require more dehydration)
