Justin’s Green Juice Recipe

Raw Beverages

Need some tasty, green energy? A good friend of mine perfected this fruity recipe, and we liked it so much it became a daily routine. He could drink about a 1/2 gallon of it in one sitting!

However you like your green juice, big glass or small, it’s jam-packed with the life giving nutrition that your body is begging for.  It tastes simply delicious! I started to crave it after drinking it for a few weeks. Very light and refreshing.

The benefits of all the raw fruits in this green drink are incredible! But I think the biggest thriller is the fact that it’s GREEN! Remember how Mom always said spinach will make you big and strong like Dad? Well many nutrition experts are saying we need all the green leaves we can possible fit into our diet, and that raw spinach may be one of the most health building foods around!

Raw spinach juice is an excellent source of chlorophyll , which may be helpful in building healthy cells, healthy bones, and reducing bad breath and body odor.  Raw spinach is also said to supply the same amount of protein as you would get from the same quantity of meat!  Well, I guess Mom was right all along.

Justin’s Green Juice

3 cups water
2 large handfuls Spinach (or other dark leafy green)
2 TBS honey
2 organic oranges (add an extra one for more tang!)
2 organic apples (cored, not peeled)
1 banana (frozen or fresh)

Blend until smooth    (higher speed makes it foamier)

Pour into 1/2 gallon jar, fill with water to make full 1/2 gallon. Stir or shake well.

Add other veggies or fruits, or remove any of these fruits from recipe to get the taste you like!

  1. Spinach Says:

I have found spinach to be an almost complete diet food. It’s high in fiber, which is great for the digestive system and helps keep you regular. Spinach is also a very fine resource of iron, which is central for dieters to be taking in frequently because they frequently cutting back on red meat. One cup of spinach includes over 337% of the RDA of vitamin A as well! My salads now contain more spinach than anything else!

  2. Laney Says:

My whole family has begun doing green drinks nearly every day. Spinach and kale are our favorite greens and we alternate the rest of the ingredients (beets, carrots, orange, apples, broccoli and so forth) to what is seasonal. But the best thing is that every single one of us feels about twice the energy when we drink these consistently. And my husband and I notice many other little things improving about our health as well. We like the ideas on your site too! Thanks, The Sangers
