It seems so clear that our Creator made these foods specifically to meet the needs of our bodies. What an amazing Designer and Provider He is! Of course these foods are the most packed with living nutrients when they have not been heated. I’m sure […]

Throughout the centuries, women of legendary beauty such as Cleopatra and Poppea (wife of Roman Emperor) used raw honey as part of their skin & hair treatments to maintain their youthful appearance. Raw honey may be a great anti-aging component because it can help keep your skin hydrated. When raw honey is exposed to air, it naturally attracts, absorbs and seals in moisture, providing a soothing effect on irritated or dry skin. Raw honey may be just the treat your skin is thirsty for. Raw honey is a “miraculous” and delicious treat!  It is the oldest sweetener known to mankind, and it tastes yummy just about any way you try it: drizzled over fresh strawberries, sweetening your favorite herbal tea, or just to eat by the spoonful!  It is considered by many to be an amazing food and medicine! Bee keeping and the production of raw honey is believed to date back to at least 700 BC. In the Bible we read of God leading His people into a promised land “flowing with milk and honey”. It is also reported that archaeologists have found jars of honey that were placed in ancient Egyptian tombs 2,000 years ago, and discovered that they still tasted delicious! Raw honey contains […]

Several people in my family have been and are still eating a raw food diet.  My Grandmother recently shared with me that while she is experiencing the benefits of eating raw foods, she also finds that it satisfies a soul-yearning within her. What could a soul-yearning have to do with raw food? Most of us have a strong desire to see the “good guys” win. Rarely will you see a more vivid analogy of good guys winning  than when you are comparing raw foods with cooked foods, and their affect on your health. Research has consistently shown that raw (uncooked) foods have up to hundreds of times more of the “good guys” than foods that have been cooked. These “good guys” are the […]

Raw Dog Food Recipe

Making your own raw dog food is a much easier task than some people may suppose when they are considering the transition to a raw diet for their pet. Many of the ingredients needed to provide a balanced diet are now readily available, where once the only option was plain raw meat or vegetables. There are a whole host of reasons to feed your dog a species appropriate diet (meaning primarily high amounts of raw protein like they would get in nature), including some veterinarians beginning to recommend it for various health problems. I won’t go into all of that here (other posts will have more detail). Suffice it to say my family has seen incredible improvements in both dogs […]
