Organic Chia Seed & Honey Pudding

One of the simplest recipes for pudding that you could possibly make is with Organic Chia Seeds and Honey. If you ever liked tapioca pudding you will probably love the Chia Seed Pudding, as they are very reminiscent of one another; except you don’t have to cook the chia version of course. Since I used to love tapioca, I was very excited about the Chia recipe. There are several variations you can make to this recipe which you can probably see right away, but here are the basics: Put one cup of (any color) chia seeds into a quart container. Dissolve a half cup of raw honey in 3/4 of a quart of lukewarm water. Mix water and chia seeds […]

This is a superbly simple and refreshing treat for warm summer days. My Grandmother showed me how to make it a few years ago, and it’s a daily favorite now! Raw apple sauce is easy to make and tastes just as good as the store bought version (maybe even better)! Whatever apples you choose to use are blended into a smooth sauce bursting with flavor and nutrition. And the ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is great for your health while also maintaining the fresh taste and light color of the apples. Raw apples are simply loaded with incredible nutrients!!!  Many people claim that eating apples may help with countless health problems. Including, asthma, alzheimer’s, high cholesterol, cancer, diabetes, and weight gain! […]

I LOVE CHOCOLATE! And this recipe makes me happy because it’s sublimely scrumptious, and superbly simple! I was very surprised at how quick and easy it is to put together… and I think the texture is almost as amazing as the taste. Raw Chocolate Pudding 2 Tbs. organic raw milk 1 Tbs. organic raw honey 1/2 tsp. organic vanilla extract 1/2 avocado, large 1  organic banana, frozen 1 Tbs. organic raw cocao powder (or raw carob powder) Blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy. (Serves one.)  Enjoy!!! Raw chocolate may actually be very good for you, if used in moderation. It is full of wonderful antioxidants and minerals that could possibly discourage premature aging and disease. Recently I heard that when Christopher […]

Mmmmm….. raw cheesecake.  I can’t believe how heavenly this is! My whole family loves it. I made it for the first time a couple days ago, and now I’m dying to spread the word! You just GOTTA try this!!!!!!!! It brings to mind one of my earliest memories-  my 3rd birthday. We had a party in my grandparent’s kitchen where my Mom made me and my little friends this great big strawberry cheesecake. (There was always a battle over who would get the first piece.) Through the years, we’ve tried some other desserts… but strawberry cheesecake just sticks around. In my opinion, there’s nothing quite like that soft creaminess in your mouth…. with that fruity flavor, so thick and rich. So […]

Chocolate covered raisins are one of my favorite treats ever! (I especially love nibbling on them when I’m watching a movie!) Sometimes I get a bad sweet tooth and I’m just dying for something rich, but I still want to know I’m building my health at the same time… so I tried making raw chocolate covered raisins today and enjoyed them so much! These darlings are pretty tasty and easy too! It’s hard to mess them up….  they still turn out great even if you like more/less honey, cacao or flavors. Chocolate Covered Raisins 1/4 cup Raw Almond Butter 2 TBS Raw Honey 1 TBS Raw Cacao (or raw carob) 1 tsp Vanilla Flavor 1/2 tsp Maple Flavor 1/2 tsp […]

Raw Honey Cinnamon Mini-Rolls

My whole family loves this raw food dessert. It’s sweet , sticky and absolutely delicious! It does require a dehydrator, and takes some time to make, but I think it’s worth it. When it comes to raw food desserts, it’s not always easy to find one that really hits the spot, but these flavorful little treats are just right. (They remind me of tiny Sugar Cinnamon Rolls.) When added to food, cinnamon may help to stop bacterial growth, making it a great raw food preservative.  I love the nutritional value of this raw food dessert  almost as much as I love the flavor! Cinnamon has become one of my favorite spices because of it’s amazing health benefits. According to recent studies, just […]

This rich, raw ice cream recipe came from my dear Auntie Holly.  It’s easy to make and tastes grandioso! I’m always content to spend a warm summer afternoon at my Aunt and Uncle’s house (they’re raw ice cream addicts), because it often means I get to taste-test whatever new flavors they decide to try in this cool treat. My favorite is this basic berry recipe. It doesn’t take long to make, but it sure tastes heavenly! Use whatever frozen fruit suits your fancy. There are so many tasty options… peach, mango, pineapple, etc.  Any fruit chosen is really refreshing, and I enjoy it even more, knowing how GOOD all that raw milk is for my body!  I’ll just take a minute here […]

A Raw Food Smoothie is one of the best ways to start your day feeling prepared for anything! I discovered this quick and delicious recipe by accident a few weeks ago. Normally I make my fruit smoothies with raw goats milk, but on this particular morning, there was none to be found in my frig. So I decided to try water as a substitute. Even while I was mixing the ingredients, I was wondering if I would like this new dairy-free concoction. But from the first taste, I was in love!!! This raw food smoothie is so light and incredibly refreshing, yet filling too…… Here is what you need: * 5 med-lg. Frozen organic strawberries (or other frozen fruit) *1 Frozen organic […]
