It’s yummy. It’s super easy. I can’t believe it’s raw spaghetti sauce!!! I love all things pasta, and it was a sad thing to me that I’ve never had much luck with creating raw spaghetti sauce… it just didn’t have that full, rich flavor. Good thing  my Grandma helped me figure out what this one was missing. We just kept adding stuff until it was just right! Goes great with raw zucchini pasta too. (See our “Easy Lasagna” recipe.) “Easy Spaghetti Sauce” 1 cup pureed raw tomatoes 1 tsp raw honey 1/4 tsp sea salt 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp dried basil 1/2 tsp dried oregano 1/4 tsp dried sage Pepper to taste (or substitute […]

Did you know that raw organic almonds and organic dried figs taste amazing together?? Okay, so I know this “recipe” is about as basic as it gets… but it’s still one of my favorite snacks in the whole world!  And, considering how full of nutrients both of these raw ingredients are, it may be one of the healthiest food combinations around. Dried figs are  high in fiber,  and great for over-all bone health, and helping to lower blood pressure. They are also a good source of iron. Raw organic almonds are equally tremendous in their benefits to our health! Many people are saying that raw almonds may encourage proper development of the brain, provide a clearer complexion, healthier hair, and a healthier heart! The American […]

I think you’ll love this basil tomato soup if you try it! I’m enjoying a big bowl of it right now. It’s creamy with mild spices that add a warm and inviting flavor. Raw tomatoes are full of incredible benefits for your body. Here are a few of them: Raw tomatoes may aid in detoxing of the liver, and may help protect it from cirrhosis (liver disease). Tomatoes can be very good for your blood- they contain a high amount of something called Lycopene, which is a powerful antioxidant which may prevent cell damage. One of the nutrients in tomatoes may also help lower cholesterol. Because tomatoes are so satisfying to our bodies, they can help decrease appetite and may encourage […]

Need some tasty, green energy? A good friend of mine perfected this fruity recipe, and we liked it so much it became a daily routine. He could drink about a 1/2 gallon of it in one sitting!             However you like your green juice, big glass or small, it’s jam-packed with the life giving nutrition that your body is begging for.  It tastes simply delicious! I started to crave it after drinking it for a few weeks. Very light and refreshing. The benefits of all the raw fruits in this green drink are incredible! But I think the biggest thriller is the fact that it’s GREEN! Remember how Mom always said spinach will make you […]
